(New!) 2021 Honduras Cup of Excellence Winner
The Cup of Excellence is a prestigious competition held annually with the goal of selecting the finest coffees of their respective countries. The process for awarding the winning coffees is rigorous blind analysis by a jury of national and international professional cuppers (tasters). The winning lots are then sent to an international auction which fetch high prices across the board. It's a win-win: normalizing higher prices for coffee growers and incentivizing these producers to grow the best coffees possible.
Specifically, this lot won 22nd place in the 2021 Cup of Excellence in Honduras. It was produced by Miguel Angel Tabora Mears on his farm Pacayalito in Santa Bárbara, Honduras. His winning lot was 100% Pacamara and grown at 1,300 meters above sea level. Learn more here.
The coffee is absolutely delicious and deceptively complex! We taste citrus and tropical fruits with a deeply sweet finish.
Each serving contains 5g of freeze dried coffee. Add 8 - 10 oz of filtered water (hot or cold), give it a stir and enjoy!
